One such perspective is the technology acceptance model (TAM), which can be used to understand the factors influencing the adoption and use of electronic information resources among library users. TAM provides insights into the perceived usefulness and ease of use of digital resources, as well as the impact of user attitudes and behaviors on the successful implementation of EIRM strategies in academic libraries (Cavoukian, 2009).
