Dear neurallovers,
We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with you! 🎉 Our incredible partner, Bridgeman Images, and neural.love have joined forces to create a stunning enhancement of a historical piece of cinema for the Super Bowl trailer of Jordan Peele’s highly anticipated movie, “Nope.” 🎥
🌟 Bringing History to Life
The first 7 seconds of the “Nope” trailer showcases our collaborative work, where we enhanced an old archive film featuring “Plate 626” from Eadweard Muybridge’s Animal Locomotion series. This series is considered “the very first assembly of photographs used to create a motion picture” and is referenced in the film.
Our team at neural.love worked diligently to upscale the footage to 4K resolution, remove noise, and increase the frame rate to a silky-smooth 24 fps. The result is a breathtaking glimpse into the past, now presented in stunning clarity for modern audiences.
🎬 About “Nope”
“Nope” is a 2022 American neo-Western science fiction horror film written, directed, and produced by Jordan Peele. The movie follows siblings OJ and Emerald Haywood, played by Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer, as they attempt to capture evidence of an unidentified flying object in Agua Dulce, California.
